I’m not the world’s greatest lyricist, but when a newly released hit song’s first 5 lines are uncannily similar to something I’ve written it’s a little spooky, but it also gives me hope.

دیگران را ببخش، نه به خاطر اینکه لایق بخششند، به خاطر اینکه تو لایق آرامشی
Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.

This is my next experiment.
I call it Pseudo Symmetry.
Can anyone guess how it’s going to sound?
The Artist Brain
To be a good artist you have to think outside the box. New research shows that a talented artist is not just thinking outside the box. The creative mind of the artist actually damaged the box. The above picture shows the brain of a highly creative person has a higher density of D2 receptors in the thalamus (area of the brain that relays information). This same patter has been noted in a person with schizophrenia. But, unlike the person with schizophrenia, the artist can regulate impulses. This regulation of a schizophrenic brain creates a artist who can think outside the box, analyze information differently, and interpret events in new ways. To all of the artists of the world: yes your thoughts are crazy, but thank you for making beautiful work.
